Before joining ESFM, Mike McGraw worked in construction, several trades, as a process engineer, and even as a corporate trainer.

While he loved working with his hands, McGraw also loved people and sought to utilize his business management degree. Then he began his career in FM.

“Entering facilities management was the best move I ever made,” McGraw said. “Now I can use my construction, engineering, and management skills all in one industry.”

As a unit manager, McGraw oversees operations for a major healthcare technology client. While he enjoys many key aspects of his role, including the many hands-on opportunities, what’s most rewarding is the people. He takes great pride in mentoring others and watching them succeed. Likewise, he has earned the trust of his clients and colleagues alike through transparency, responsiveness, and a strong focus on team development.

As a shining example of collaborative leadership, McGraw was honored as a recipient of the ESFM President’s Award earlier this year.
